RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING

Recognition of Prior Learning is a method of assessment by which learners gain recognition for knowledge, understanding, skills and competencies they posses.

 

We believe given an opportunity, every candidate can excel in his/her area of expertise. One size doesn’t fit all – we customize our assessment to capture skills acquired through formal and non formal learning.

We encourage candidates to discuss their personal and professional requirements with concerned faculty, school and explore various options.

​

​

We recognize prior learning and award credit. We strictly follow national and international skill assessment standards especially European Qualifications Framework (EQF).

​

The assessment requires online exams, viva-voce, interview and mapping to candidate’s interest area(s).  

​

The credits can be used for entry into various certifications, bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degree at our institution or partner institutions in US, UK, Malaysia, Singapore and India. This helps to reduce duration and tuition fee of programs. In most of the cases, there is a minimum fee for assessment. Candidates can acquire accredited university degree at one-fifth of regular tuition fee and raise their professional and social profile.    

HOW TO APPLY:

 

Candidates are encouraged to send an e-mail clearly indicating followings:

  • intended credit transfer, prior learning, personal and professional situations

  • personal, professional and other credentials

  • intended degree or certifications

  • recommendations from verified credible sources

The concerned department will respond back with relevant details.

 

There is no deadline to apply, but students should keep it mind that the initial assessment and continuous follow up with various departments take considerable amount of time. The minimum time is four months and it might take up to eight months considering the complexity of the case.
