Q. What is the literal meaning of recognition? How does it differ from accreditation?
A: Recognition means approval by government and hence acceptance of the academic program in job market. Recognition and accreditation are used extensively for academic institutions and programs. While their meaning are very close, it can differ on a case-by-case basis. With globalization of world, the acceptance of an academic program in global job market is the ultimate need of the students.

Q. What is recognition in global academic scenario?
A: Recognition in global scenario is of two types: Academic and Professional.
•Academic recognition is used for higher study. This specifically mean, getting recognition/accreditation from regional authorities only. When accepting application for higher study from foreign students, each Higher Education Institution (HEI) has its own criterion for a particular degree or diploma. The reputation of the country and presence of Multinational Companies (MNC) impact the recognition. Accredited degrees from Asia might not be viewed in the same way as compared to accredited degrees from developed countries. Even non accredited degrees from world top ranked institution are accepted in world's most prestigious institutions.
•Professional recognition means for employment and practice. Non-regulated professionals in most cases don't need any academic recognition and acceptance for job is at the sole discretion of the employer. Regulated professions require both academic and professional recognition. Rules are more stringent to hold a license for public practice. For regulated profession, respective government decides the process of recognition. Regulated professions include teachers, doctors, lawyers, architects, engineers, accountants and others.
​Q. Are CIHE programs accredited?
A: CIHE is institutionally accredited by respective agencies. Check accreditation for details. We offer internationally equivalent certified autonomous programs to global candidates and our alumni are working successfully in US, UK, EU, India and other locations.
•In Germany, recognition of degrees (except regulated profession and nationality) are not required.
•In India, Chartered and Professional Societies don't come under the purview of University Grant Commission (UGC) and All Indian Council for Technical Education (AICTE). CIHE, India is offering various programs from certificate to post graduate diploma to its members. In fact, many universities and Higher Education Institutions (HEI) get accreditation by Chartered and Professional societies for global acceptance. In fact, this is the norm in UK since very long time. Chartered and Professional societies are standard setting bodies worldwide and advise various governments for policy decisions.
•In India, it is up to the concerned academic institution/university to recognize the qualification including certificate, diploma, degree, etc. for the purpose of academic pursuit, i.e. continuing education for acquiring another academic qualification, with it. As regards recognition of academic qualifications for the purpose of employment, it is the prerogative of the concerned employer to take a view on the recognition of the certificate, diploma and degree.
•For all occupations in Australia, the employer decides who they will employ. The Department of Education, Skills and Employment does not assess qualifications for study and migration. The education institution, such as a university, higher education provider or registered training organization, assesses overseas qualifications for admission. In all occupations, the employer decides who they will employ.
•In US, accreditation is voluntary, there is no federal agency for accreditation. “Accreditation” is used extensively for universities and colleges affiliated to a particular university. Accreditation can be granted by any agency without any restriction of location and set of rules. However, accreditation in general means accreditation by US Department of Education approved/recognized accreditation agencies. Most higher learning institutions, immigration authorities and corporate refer to this US Department of Education approved accreditation. US being a matured economy, both accredited and non-accredited programs are gladly accepted by leading corporations.
•In Singapore, there is no central authority that assesses or grants recognition for degrees obtained from overseas universities. The reason is that the employer should be the one deciding whether a degree-holder has the qualities desired for the job and the qualification most relevant to his needs. The employer is in the best position to decide how much value he will assign to a person’s qualification.
​Q. Do you have international collaboration for student exchange and international experience?
A. Details of collaboration are available in Xpediolive, Portsmouth and CASS Paris. We're establishing centre of excellence in different areas. Moreover, our Post Graduate Level (EQF Level 7) Chartered Certifications, Degrees and Diplomas are accepted by regional and international accredited public universities in US, UK, EU, NZ, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia and other countries up to 90% credit transfer. Our candidates have wonderful opportunities to acquire an additional degree at 1/5th cost and time than normal tuition fees and duration.

Q. What about acceptance of CIHE and its programs by employers?

With global liberalized policy, this is the prevalent law in most countries including US, UK, EU, Singapore, Switzerland, India and other countries. Accredited, non-accredited certifications, diplomas, and degrees are gladly accepted by global corporations subject to meeting their specific requirements, alumni references and reputation of the academic institution/university.
Acceptance of an academic degree, diploma and certifications is subject to employer policy.

Q. Are LLB/LLM recognized by government for practice in bar?
A. Course curriculum of LLB/LLM are fully customized to meet the requirements of passing the bar examination in New York and California in the United States and SQE in the United Kingdom. We boast ourselves for one of the lowest tuition fee in world.

Q. Why LLB/LLM is better than other similar programs in US and UK?
A. Our programs strengths are - highly affordable cost, flexibility (can be completed partly online) and two years international experience. In case, the student doesn't get visa in US/UK, they are not eligible to practice elsewhere outside US/UK. It has huge cost impact spent on LLB/LLM. In most if not all cases, our students pay their tuition fee from their earning during law practice training in international training law firm.

Q. Why MBA (F&L) is a very unique program?
A. The MBA program with dual specialization in Finance and Law is indeed a splendid program. This two-year program opens up career opportunity in New York, California and London in finance and law. The finance specialization helps candidates to secure jobs in corporate finance, banking and financial services. The law specialization makes them eligible to pass the bar examination in US and the SQE examination in UK with two years legal practice certificate from an international law firm. Q. What is the uniqueness of B.I.Engg program?
A. The Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering (B.I.Engg) has many strengths - highly affordable cost, up to 70% of the courses can be completed online and country specific tuition fee. The program offers full customization with dual (chemical & metallurgy, mechanical & civil, mechanical & electrical, electrical & industrial and industrial & manufacturing) and triple ( mechanical, infrastructure and maintenance engineering, chemical, process design and environmental engineering, civil, urban planning and infrastructure engineering, electronics, industrial automation and software programming) specializations. Not many institutions in world offer this kind of specializations and super specializations. Moreover, it can also lead to an additional degree BBA/BS at a fraction of cost.

Q. Why are there requirements of mandatory practical training? It is not found in most institutions.
A. There is mandatory practical training requirement in hotel management, law and healthcare programs. On a case by case basis, the training can be completed before, during and after the program. Students get hands-on learning experience and the probability of getting hired increases substantially.
